FAQ

Individuals suffering from urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, or those who have experienced a decrease in their quality of life due to pelvic floor disorders may find Emsella treatment beneficial. It’s suitable for both men and women of different ages, especially beneficial for postpartum mothers and elderly females facing urinary incontinence.

You’ll be seated comfortably on the Emsella chair fully clothed. The procedure is pain-free, though you may feel tingling sensations as the electromagnetic technology operates, promoting the natural movement of kegel muscles.

Typically, a treatment plan entails two Emsella sessions per week over a three-week period. However, personalized plans can be devised in consultation with a healthcare provider.

Many of our clients report feeling improvement after a single session, although the full benefits of Emsella treatment are typically realized after completing the entire recommended treatment schedule.

Emsella is FDA-approved and deemed safe for treating pelvic floor disorders. It’s a non-invasive procedure with no reported adverse effects like bladder leakage, unlike some invasive treatments for pelvic prolapse or urinary retention treatment.

Emsella treatment utilizes High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to induce deep pelvic floor muscle contractions, which can be more intensive and consistent compared to traditional Kegel exercises.

Additionally, Emsella automates the process, making it an effortless treatment option.

While Emsella primarily targets urinary incontinence and pelvic floor muscle strengthening, it may also provide some relief in the symptoms associated with vaginal or bladder prolapse by improving the overall strength and tone of the pelvic floor muscles.
