HArmonyCa® Hybrid Filler Richmond, BC & Vancouver

HArmonyCa® is a hybrid injectable that combines hyaluronic acid (HA) with calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA). An HA filler mainly adds volume and contour. In HArmonyCa®, the HA gives an immediate lift while the CaHA stimulates your own collagen over the following months, so part of the effect builds gradually.

Results commonly last about 12–18 months. The HA lift is immediate, and the collagen effect builds over the following weeks to months. Duration varies with age, skin quality and the areas treated, and your physician will advise on review timing.

Commonly redness, swelling, bruising, pain, tenderness and itching, usually mild and settling within 24–48h. Lumps (nodules) and asymmetry can occur; if a lump appears, massage the area and tell us, as injected material may be palpable for a period. Rarely, filler can block a blood vessel, which is urgent: contact us immediately about severe pain, skin colour change or vision changes.

HArmonyCa® contains 0.3% lidocaine to help reduce discomfort, and topical anesthetic and icing can be added. The injection itself typically takes about 30-45 minutes, plus time for assessment, photographs and mapping. Most people resume normal activities the same day. Site reactions usually settle within 24–48h and swelling within about a week; avoid strenuous activity and sun for 24h, and wait 12h before makeup.

Yes. For larger volume loss or reduced firmness, JUVÉDERM® may be placed first, then HArmonyCa®. Safety with other filling implants has not been evaluated — follow your physician's plan.

It is not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an allergy to its components or lidocaine, with a bleeding disorder or history of severe allergy, or with an active infection in the area.
