Thermage® Body Skin Tightening in Richmond, BC
Radiofrequency tightening for the abdomen, arms, thighs and knees, serving Vancouver
Thermage Body is needle-free radiofrequency skin tightening for the abdomen, upper arms, thighs, buttocks, flanks and knees. A body tip heats the deeper, collagen-rich layers to tighten mild to moderate laxity, for example after pregnancy or weight loss. A session typically takes about 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the areas, and most people resume normal activities the same day. Results vary. For the face and eyes, see our Thermage page.

What is Thermage Body and who is it for?
Monopolar RF 'bulk heating' contracts collagen and encourages new collagen over the following months. It is used for loose skin on the abdomen, arms, thighs and other body areas.
Thermage Body reaches deep collagen-rich layers (up to 4.3mm with the Body Tip, per the manufacturer) with calibrated RF energy. Treatment gives gradual body tightening as collagen remodels over months, without surgery or needles. Most people resume normal activities the same day; temporary redness or swelling is possible.
Deep body penetration
Reaches structural layers (up to 4.3mm with the Body Tip, per the manufacturer) to support body tightening.
AccuREP™ body precision
Real-time calibration tailors each pulse to your body's skin impedance.
Comfort pulse body cooling
Integrated cooling and vibration help make body treatments more comfortable.

How is Thermage Body different from the face treatment?
The body version uses larger tips and settings for bigger areas and thicker skin, while facial and eye tips are smaller and finer.
Larger body tip coverage
A larger body tip covers more surface per pulse than the facial and eye tips, which suits bigger areas such as the abdomen and thighs.
Body-optimized energy
AccuREP™ fine-tunes each pulse to the impedance of thicker body skin.
Enhanced comfort vibration
Multi-directional vibration plus cooling eases heat sensation on body skin.
Controlled body depth
Consistent RF delivery reaches deep dermis for collagen remodeling while protecting surface skin.

Thermage Body Questions Answered
What is Thermage Body, and how is it different from facial Thermage?+
Thermage Body uses the same radiofrequency principle with larger tips and settings for the abdomen, arms, thighs and knees. Facial Thermage uses smaller tips for the face and eyes. See our Thermage page for face and eye treatment.
Does Thermage Body hurt?+
Most people feel brief heat pulses, eased by built-in cooling and vibration. Tell us if an area is sensitive and we can adjust comfort measures.
How many Thermage Body sessions do I need?+
Many people have a single session, and some repeat later for maintenance. Dr. Jiang confirms the plan at your assessment. Results vary.
Is there downtime after Thermage Body?+
Most people resume normal activities the same day. Temporary redness or swelling is possible; avoid saunas, hot baths and intense workouts for 2-3 days.
Will Thermage Body reduce fat?+
No. Thermage tightens skin and does not remove fat. For fat reduction or muscle building, other treatments such as CoolSculpting or Emsculpt are separate options, and Thermage can complement them.
Thermage Body or Sylfirm X Body: which is better for loose skin?+
They work differently. Thermage Body is needle-free and suits broader tightening; Sylfirm X Body uses microneedles and suits stretch marks and crepey texture. Dr. Jiang advises which, or both.
Who is a good candidate for body skin tightening?+
People with mild to moderate laxity on the abdomen, arms, thighs or buttocks who prefer a non-surgical, needle-free option. Not suitable during pregnancy or with a pacemaker or metal implants in the area.
How much does Thermage Body cost in Richmond, BC?+
Fees are not published online. Pricing depends on the area treated and tip used, and is confirmed after an assessment with Dr. Jiang.
Where can I get Thermage Body near Vancouver?+
We are at Unit 110, 5580 No. 3 Rd, Richmond, BC, about a 3-minute walk from Lansdowne Station on the Canada Line. Open daily 9:00-18:00; English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
How long does a Thermage Body session take?+
Typically about 30 minutes to 2 hours. A single area such as the knees or upper arms is shorter; the abdomen, or several areas in one visit, takes longer. The visit also includes assessment, grid marking and aftercare instructions, so allow some extra time.
When will I see results from Thermage Body, and how long do they last?+
Some people notice firmer skin soon after treatment, but the main change builds gradually over about 2–6 months as new collagen forms. Results are not permanent: how long they last varies with age, weight stability and lifestyle, and Dr. Jiang may suggest a review about once a year. Individual results vary.
What side effects are possible after Thermage Body?+
Most are mild and short-lived: redness, swelling or tenderness for a day or two. Less commonly, small blisters, temporary bumps or an uneven contour can occur. Telling Dr. Jiang about implants, recent procedures and medical conditions beforehand lowers the risk. Contact us if anything does not settle.
