Ultra Femme 360 is a radiofrequency (RF) device made by BTL that gently heats intimate tissue using internal and external applicators. Some women explore it for a feeling of laxity after childbirth or with age, or for the appearance of the vulvar area. It is not a cure for any medical condition, results vary from person to person, and a physician assessment decides whether it is suitable.

What is Ultra Femme 360?

Ultra Femme 360 is a physician-supervised device that delivers controlled radiofrequency energy. Its internal applicator is cylindrical, so heat is delivered around the full circumference of the vaginal canal; separate external applicators are used for the vulvar area.

How does the technology work?

  • 360° RF delivery: the applicator delivers energy evenly around the tissue
  • Controlled heating: the aim is gentle, controlled warmth, which is associated with collagen remodelling in RF research on other tissues
  • Temperature monitoring: the device monitors temperature during treatment
  • Single-use covers: applicators are used with disposable covers for hygiene

Why do some women explore Ultra Femme 360?

A feeling of laxity

Changes in tissue firmness can follow vaginal childbirth, hormonal changes around menopause, and aging. Some women explore RF treatment for this. How much change a person notices, if any, varies.

Appearance of the vulvar area

External applicators are used for looseness of the vulvar skin. Results vary.

What it is not for

Ultra Femme 360 is not a treatment for urinary incontinence, prolapse, infections, pain during intercourse or vaginal dryness caused by menopause. These symptoms deserve a proper medical assessment, by your family doctor or another physician, because they can have causes that need their own care.

What happens at the consultation?

We understand that intimate concerns can be hard to talk about. At RAAC:

  • Private setting: conversations and treatment take place in a private room
  • Medical review: a physician-led assessment covers your concerns, symptoms, medical and pregnancy history, and current health
  • No pressure: treatment is only offered when it is clinically appropriate, and you may be referred elsewhere if your symptoms need different care

What happens during a treatment session?

Internal treatment:

  • The 360° applicator, with a disposable cover, is gently inserted
  • Most people describe a warm sensation
  • According to the manufacturer, the active treatment time is about 8 minutes
  • No anesthesia is used

External treatment (if suitable):

  • A separate applicator is moved over the vulvar area
  • Most people describe a similar warm sensation

How many sessions are usually planned?

A typical plan is a series of about 3 sessions, spaced 1–2 weeks apart. Your physician may suggest a different plan after assessing you. Each visit, including preparation, usually takes 20–30 minutes.

What is recovery like?

  • Most people resume normal activities, including exercise, the same day
  • Temporary warmth, mild redness or sensitivity in the area is possible
  • Your provider will give aftercare guidance, including when to resume intercourse

When might results appear?

Any change tends to be gradual. Some people notice a difference after the first sessions, while others notice little change. Because RF is thought to work through gradual tissue remodelling, changes may continue to develop over the following months. Results vary, are not permanent, and maintenance sessions are sometimes discussed.

How much does Ultra Femme 360 cost?

Cost depends on whether internal, external or both are treated and on the number of sessions. It is explained at consultation after an assessment; prices are not listed online.

Who may be a candidate, and who should not have it?

Ultra Femme 360 may be considered for adult women who:

  • Notice a feeling of laxity after childbirth or with age
  • Are concerned about the appearance of the vulvar area
  • Prefer to discuss a non-surgical option
  • Have had any relevant symptoms medically assessed

Not recommended for:

  • Pregnancy, or soon after giving birth
  • Active infection, unexplained bleeding or undiagnosed pain in the area
  • Certain implanted devices (discussed during consultation)
  • Prolapse or other conditions that need medical or surgical care
